Document format
Feb 10 2007, 12:40 AM EST
I prepare my documents in Microsoft Word, use the same default font and sizing. When I copy it and paste it in my Wetpaint Page, it takes out all the spacing and I have to spend a long time, putting it all back. Can you fix this please. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

This can be a very good thing if we can paste from Word into Wetpaint. Can you look into adding font colour. We would like to use different colour fonts. Do you find this valuable?

MSWord Document formatting solution
Jul 2 2008, 5:08 PM EDT
To prevent this, do the following while in MSWord:
1. Go to ‘Find and Replace’ (Ctrl+F) on the ‘Edit’ menu
2. Click on the ‘Replace’ tab
3. Type ‘^p’ in the ‘Find what:’ box
4. Type ‘^l’ in the ‘Replace with:’ box
6. Hit the ‘Replace All’ button and you’re done!
It should now copy and paste onto the website with the line-spacing intact. Other non-text elements such as bullet-points, numbering, pictures, and word art are not transferable by copying and pasting. So be sure to add them in, by using the website’s editing tools, after copying and pasting your text.
